ACT Practice Test Questions – How To Find Them
The American College Testing (ACT) test is known as the standardized exam given to high school students before they enter college. ACT is composed of four subtests: Math, English, Reading and Science. It also has an essay part that was introduced in the year 2005. This last subtest aims to determine student’s planning abilities. A lot of students use the ACT practice test online in preparing for their ACT exam.
The Act test is conducted six times every year. It is scheduled during the months of October, June, September, December, February, and April. ACT is an exam that helps test a student’s knowledge that’s gained from high school. It will also determine if a student is ready to take college subjects.
Students prepare for the ACT test in various ways according to their preference. They prepare for the test just like how they prepare for major exams. This simply means that they also review. Students study on the four subtest of ACT and familiarize themselves too with some general information. However, during the review period, students also need to remember some essential things.
Before the review, students must schedule their preferred exam date. With this kind of approach, they can really prepare for the test. After setting the date for the exam, one can start their review easily. This will surely help the students to get ready for the exam, both mentally and physically.
In the review period, test takers must study books and references recommended by the school. They should also train themselves in answering questions in a limited time. This is because in the actual ACT exam is time limited. 60 minutes is given for Math, 45 minutes for English and 35 minutes each for Science and Reading. Students need to practice time limits so they can answer all the questions and pass during the actual exam.
Aside from practicing time limits during reviews, one should not forget about their health. One should remember that strict diet is prohibited during reviews because one needs to eat properly. One should not forget that reviewing is a mental activity and so brain cells must be nourished very well. If not, the test taker cannot review properly. The brain cells become weak and this gives a negative effect to how a student answers in any exam.
After finishing all reviews as well as taking the ACT practice test, one must be prepared. Remember that ACT is very important and the qualification of any student to enter college depends on their score. As much as possible, students need not be intimidated with people. They need to be relaxed during the exam.
